N–DC03 Dining Chair by NORM. Architects for Karimoku Case.
Developed for Blue Bottle Coffee’s Minatomirai Café in Yokohama, the N-DC02 Café Chair is a refined evolution of the Kinuta Project N-DC01 dining chair. Reimagined by Norm Architects with Keiji Ashizawa, the design has been scaled down in size and weight to suit a busy café setting without compromising its distinct character.
Crafted by Karimoku in solid wood, the chair’s softened curves and warm material presence bring a residential sensibility to public space. An optional upholstered seat, in fabric or leather, adds an extra layer of comfort. Its compact proportions and balanced geometry reflect the open, light-filled context of the Minatomirai Café, where gentle forms and natural textures shape a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
