Designed for Blue Bottle Coffee’s Minatomirai Café in Yokohama, the N-SC01 Side Chair completes the Minatomirai Collection with a versatile, space-conscious design. Developed by NORM. Architects with Keiji Ashizawa Design, the chair echoes the calm geometry and refined detailing of the café’s architecture.
Neither a traditional dining chair nor a stool, the N-SC01 merges elements of both. Its low backrest and compact footprint make it ideal for busy spaces, while the soft upholstered seat and back add comfort without visual weight. Crafted in solid wood by Karimoku, the chair’s clean lines and tactile materiality bring quiet character to public or residential interiors.
