The Bertoia collection includes a side chair, bar stool, counter height stool, bench, lounge chair, armchair, high back armchair and asymmetric armchair. It has been in continuous production around the world since its introduction in 1952.
Knoll historian Brian Lutz once said “Bertoia’s paintings were better than his sculptures. And his sculptures were better than his furniture. And his furniture was absolutely brilliant.”
The Knoll logo is stamped into the base of the chair.

Materials
The mesh seat and frame are available in welded steel in a polished chrome finish or in black or white rilsan, a high-performance, strong and lightweight polymer of 100% renewable origin.
This armchair is fully upholstered in fabrics or leathers of the collection, secured with lock-snaps. Please click here to view available Knoll upholstery.
