Designed by Jenni Roininen in 2024, the Basic Extendable Table seamlessly blends Nikari's signature Finnish woodworking techniques with exceptional functionality. Made from solid wood, it features a hidden extension mechanism that preserves the clean lines of the Basic series.
To ensure a seamless surface when extended, the wood grain of the tabletop runs crosswise, compared to the original Basic Table design, which runs lengthwise. This clever evolution enhances the table's distinctive character while maintaining a flawless, unified surface at all lengths.
These tables are tested for durability in varying climates, ensuring they remain stable and beautiful for years. The oval table seats up to eight, while the rectangular version accommodates twelve, perfect for everyday meals and larger gatherings.

Finished in either a wood oil mix or lacquer.
This light table comes disassembled and requires light assembly.
