Akademia Chair by Wesley Walters & Salla Luhtasela for Nikari.
The Akademia chair was designed by designer duo Wesley Walters and Salla Luhtasela in 2019. Developed as part of Wesley Walter's thesis work at Aalto University, the chair draws inspiration from many cultures: Finnish manufacturing heritage, simplistic American Shaker style and Japanese design traditions. These inspirations are seen uniting in the straight, classic frame and softly curved seat and backrest of the chair.
The chair is a great choice for dining rooms, restaurants or cafeterias.
The chair is made from oak or ash and is available in lacquered oak, lacquered light oak, smoked oak, coloured stained oak, lacquered ash and black stained ash finishes. The chair is also available in COM colour (with a minimum order quantity of 20pc) or with upholstery. Please enquire for details.
