Betty Armchair
Betty Armchair by Thau + Kallio for &Tradition.
Originally designed in 2020 for the Betty Nansen Theatre in Copenhagen, the Betty collection is defined by solid wood frames and a robust construction. The seats were born from a specific request to create a lightweight, easily transportable bench, which laid the foundation for the rest of the design concepts.
In 2024, the Betty collection expanded with the introduction of a smoked oak finish and a new armrest design. This updated chair keeps the same aesthetic as the original dining chairs but adds arms for enhanced comfort.
The smoked oak finish is in line with Kallio's In Between collection, also produced by &Tradition.

Black water based lacquered ash, water based lacquered oak or smoked oiled oak. Seat made from formpressed veneer with optional upholstered CMHR foam seat.

**Needs FR treatment in order to comply with UK Fire regulation. Furniture orders requiring FR treatment will have 3 weeks longer leadtime and 15% upcharge will apply.

Plastic gliders installed as standard.
&Tradition is B Corp Certified. The wood used in the Betty chair is FSC Certified.
