Created in 2020 for the Betty Nansen Theatre in Copenhagen, the Betty collection features wooden seats characterised by their solid wooden frames and durable construction. The seats were designed to meet a specific request for a new, lightweight, and easily portable bench, which inspired the choice of a webbed seat design. This webbing technique is common in Sweden, reflecting the Swedish influence in the design.
In 2024, the collection was expanded with a new armrest design and a smoked oak finish. This new version maintains the same look as the original dining chairs but adds arms for extra comfort.
The smoked oak finish is in line with Kallio's In Between collection, also produced by &Tradition.
