MR Low Table | Bauhaus Era
MR Low Table | Bauhaus Era by Mies Van Der Rohe for Knoll.
The MR Table, designed in 1927, is one of the earliest examples of steel furniture created by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the third and final director of the Bauhaus. Exuding refined elegance, the table demonstrates Mies' skill in transforming simple lines into captivating forms.
At the 2024 Salone del Mobile, Knoll unveiled three new ultra-matte frame finishes for the MR Table, each thoughtfully selected to reflect the Bauhaus school's identity. These finishes also align with early productions by Mies van der Rohe, which often featured frames painted in white and deep red.
