Fun 3DM Pendant Light by Verner Panton for Verpan.
In 1964, Verner Panton was inspired to create a light that could diffuse light effectively while creating a bold impact, and thus, the Fun collection was born.
Originally, Panton experimented with metal discs for the design, but later, he switched to mother-of-pearl after he stumbled upon seashells while walking on a beach in Malaysia.
The Fun 3DM Pendant comprises three clusters of these mother-of-pearl discs, attached by chains of small metal rings mounted on a wooden ceiling plate.
When the light is turned on, the pendant produces intricate patterns on the surrounding surfaces, creating an ethereal atmosphere.
The hanging discs of the light produce a soft tinkling sound when moved by a breeze, adding an extra sensory element to the piece.

Materials
Discs are made of mother-of-pearl. Small rings are made of stainless steel. Ceiling plate is made of MDF (white lacquered). Transparent plastic cord.
