Fun 10DM pendant lamp by Verner Panton for Verpan.
Pendant with mother of pearl discs on four ring chrome metal frame. Discs are connected with small metal rings.
Panton was often inspired by nature and this design employs natural mother of pearl to great effect. The myriad pearlescent discs give a warm light and cast a delicate shifting pattern of reflected light on surrounding surfaces. In addition, a gentle crystalline sound is emitted when the hanging discs are stirred by a soft draught.
