Fun 7DM pendant light by Verner Panton for Verpan.
Striking hanging pendant lamp with one large cluster of a mother of pearl discs attached by chains of small metal rings.
Panton was often inspired by nature and this design employs natural mother of pearl to great effect.
The myriad pearlescent discs give a warm light and cast a delicate shifting pattern of reflected light on surrounding surfaces. In addition, a gentle crystalline sound is emitted when the hanging discs are stirred by a soft draught.
Use it as a prominent and inspiring part of any interior, ideal for commercial settings.

Materials
Discs are made of seashell. Small rings are made of stainless steel. Ceiling plate is made of MDF (white lacquered).
